I just can’t get enough pictures of the city where classic and modern buildings stand side by side.

Pictured above is Victoria State Parliament building. It is near to Treasury or Fitzroy Garden.

This is the building for marriage registration. Usually after registering their marriage, the happy couple (and their friends, of course) will head straight to Fitzroy Garden for photo session (or the ceremony).

One of many campus buildings of RMIT University in the city. Beside the building (not in the picture) is Old Melbourne Gaol (pronounce “Gaol” like “Jail” with slight o sound) which is haunted (that’s what I heard).

Fancy exploring the city on horse-drawn carriage? I am surprised that they consider and treat this as a vehicle which has to obey road rules (and its special treatment).

Another RMIT campus building on the right.
