If you are a shopaholic, you must be familiar with Orchard Road in Singapore. Usually I come here to eat Indonesian food (yes, there are a lot of Indonesian restaurant in this area) and Great Singapore Sale to get some apparels or Gundam plastic models.

Went here last weekend and got a pair of pants from Uniqlo at 313@Somerset since I had 20 SGD voucher from HSBC.

Cathay Cineleisure building which has a lot of entertainment-related shops for youth.

There are malls on both side of the road and you can find various brands from Louis Vuitton to Giordano.

Lucky Plaza, where I usually quench my needs of Indonesian food. You can find several restaurants selling authentic Indonesian food including this “Nasi Padang”. The shopping centre is quite old and during weekends, it is really crowded with Filipinos.

Tang’s shopping centre. The works in front of it is to raise the road a couple of centimetres as this area was heavily flooded last year.

Shaw House is a another quite old shopping centre in this area. They just upgraded their theatre with IMAX projector this month (May 16). The second IMAX theatre in Singapore I believe after the one in Singapore Science Centre.

Entrance to Orchard MRT station (red line),

It also serves as underground crossing.

You can see how many people going down.

A small road to Mount Elizabeth Hospital.

An artist sketching faces of people, with a price of course.

One of many shopping centre in the area that sells luxurious items.
